Expertise in Louisiana law — as well as Texas law — is the reason law firm Kean Miller LLP says it’s opening a Houston office, the first time the firm’s ventured out of its home in the Bayou State.
The firm has been representing upstream, midstream and downstream clients in Louisiana for 35 years, and with significantly more than half the firm’s revenues coming from clients based in Texas, opening a Houston office is a natural move to serve Texas companies with interests in Louisiana and national clients with needs in both states.
Joining Kean Miller as partners in Houston are trial lawyers Bill Ogden, Linda Broocks, Jim Hall and Judith Meyer, with Gary Alfred as special counsel.
The firm said it plans to continue operating its offices in Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Shreveport and Lake Charles.
