Former Austin law firm partner Julie Parsley is the new CEO at Pedernales Electric Cooperative, with Eddie Dauterive named Chief Operations Officer.
Before her energy-related partnership at Parsely Coffin Renner, Parsley was a commissioner at the Public Utility Commission of Texas and was also a state Solicitor General.
Dauterive will serve as the cooperative’s chief operations officer after years as PEC’s vice president of member services.
Both were named to their new positions by the board in Johnson City last month.
Board President Emily Pataki said, “As we approach our 80th anniversary, we’re confident we have found the leader who provides great value to the cooperative’s membership and will honor PEC’s rich tradition and history.
“The Board voted unanimously in support of Julie, who we believe will leverage her deep knowledge of the electric utility industry to implement member-focused programs while keeping costs low and maintaining high levels of service reliability and member satisfaction.”
Parsley Coffin Renner (now Coffin Renner) co-founder Ann Coffin said her firm is “thrilled at the foresight Pedernales had in tapping Julie Parsley to be its next CEO.”
