Houston’s Buckeye Ups Q4 Earnings Year Over Year

Buckeye Partners LP reported a net income for the fourth quarter of 2017 of $126 million, an increase from the previous year’s $107 million.

Adjusted earnings before taxes, depreciation and other factors (“EBITDA”) amounted to $289.9 million compared to $255.1 million for the fourth quarter of 2016.

Houston-based Buckeye is a primary Eastern and Midwest US petroleum distributor, with a network of more than 135 liquid petroleum products terminals with aggregate tank capacity of over 176 million barrels across pipelines, inland terminals and marine terminals located primarily in the East Coast, Midwest and Gulf Coast regions of the United States as well as in the Caribbean, Northwest Europe, the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
