Texas Energy Report Publisher Mike Shiloh Leaves Quorum Report

July 10, 2018

Longtime Quorum Report staffer Mike Shiloh (call him SHY-low) is leaving the premier Texas political news publication to concentrate on The Texas Energy Report.

He’s been an editor at the Energy Report since its inception in 2009, and will now focus on his work as publisher and editor.

Shiloh was also news clips editor (the “Hipster Clipster”) for Quorum Report for six years.

His final work for Quorum was at the end of June.

He’s succeeded at Quorum by reporter James Russell, who’s also handling the clips.

“I loved working with my dear friend Harvey Kronberg, Scott Braddock — my former news broadcast colleague — and the crew going back to John Moritz (now with USA Today‘s network in Corpus),” Shiloh said.

“We’ll be doing more work from the field at The Texas Energy Report, with an additional reporter to be named soon, and I hope to continue an affiliation with Quorum Report as the years go by.”
