Howard Energy Partners continues its open season for the Maverick Channel Pipeline.
The 12-inch line is expected to be in service by the end of the year to deliver refined petroleum products from refineries around Corpus Christi to Maverick’s bulk liquids terminal at the Port of Corpus Christi.
Open season continues until 5 pm August 30th.
Initial capacity of the pipeline is to be 48,000 barrels per day, and it’s expected to connect to NuStar Energy’s Origin Station in Corpus.
Refined product arriving to the Terminal via the Maverick Channel Pipeline can be stored in the Terminal’s six tanks with an aggregate storage capacity of 480,000 barrels.
