US commercial crude supplies were up by 3.6 million barrels during the week of November 23rd, according to figures from the US Energy Information Administration on Wednesday.
That’s ten consecutive weeks of crude stockpile increases.
Gasoline inventories were down by 800,000 barrels, distillates were up by 2.6 million barrels.
Analysts surveyed by S&P Global Platts survey expected a decline in crude inventories along with an increase of 141,000 barrels in gasoline, but forecast a fall of 315,000 barrels in distillate inventories.
