The new Haynesville Shale play natural gas system, Gemini Carthage Pipeline, is under development for early 2019, and a proposed Carthage-to-Beaumont line is in open season.
Gemini Midstream Holdings LLC joined affiliates in announcing the pipeline on Wednesday, saying it’ll be capable of delivering more than 1.2 billion cfpd of dry, high-pressure natural gas through Harrison and Panola counties in East Texas, just inside the state line from Shreveport.
The system will be operational in the first quarter of 2019, Gemini said, and will serve natural gas for Rockcliff Energy II LLC from a dedicated area encompassing over 180,000 surface acres.
Gemini is also looking for customers for a proposed line originating in the Carthage area in Panola County to run south to the Beaumont area.
The Gemini Gulf Coast Pipeline would be capable of delivering more than 1.5 billion cfpd from the growing Arklatex area to Gulf Coast premium markets, the company said.
Gemini said it is supported by energy private equity firm Quantum Energy Partners.
