RCC Releases Year In Review

The Railroad Commission of Texas has its new 2018 Year in Review out, with an overview of its actions for the year.

The agency said Wednesday it’s collected information on hundreds of thousands of inspections, information on its information technology modernization projects and increased staff training for inclusion in the report and has included video, infographics and links to additional information along with photos.

The commission assessed more than $9 million in fines on 3,475 enforcement dockets, conducted hundreds of thousands of inspections and has surpassed key measures called for by the state legislature.
