October 15, 2019

A shareholder in SemGroup is asking a federal court to stop the pipeline, plant and marine transportation company’s proposed $5.1 billion sale to Dallas’ Energy Transfer Partners, according to one report.

John Thompson wants to lead a class action for a group of SemGroup investors, according to a petition before the US District Court for Delaware to put on hold a shareholder vote, claiming that the Tulsa-based company “issued incomplete and misleading information about the deal,” Law360 reports.
